I started this project to showcase my data science skills in an entertaining way, and prove the effectiveness of my developement process.

The data for the game were extracted and transformed using Python. A number of data science techniques were used to verify the legitimacy of the data to make a game, and to choose the differing lyrics for comparison.

I used a wordcloud to visualize the lyrics gathered via the API to make sure the words gathered were cleaned properly. Stop words had to be removed, as well as words like "verse", "chorus", "bridge", "outro", "translations", "bridge", and "instrumental" as one would see in transcribed lyrics.
